Authorities solve burglaries

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) Authorities worked together to solve a string of recent thefts and burglaries in the First City.

    Ketchikan Police and State Troopers arrested Cody Peters, 32, for several recent burglaries.

    Charges include burglary in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fifth degree, three counts of theft in the second degree, and misconduct involving weapons in the third degree.

    Police converged on the Marine View Condos and served a search warrant locating stolen power and hand tools.  A second suspect is
    also being charged.  Michael Baham, 33, was charged with violation of conditions of release and misconduct involving a controlled substance.

    Peters is charged with a November 28th burglary of a construction site on North Tongass Highway where $3,000 worth of equipment was stolen.
