Ketchikan police arrest Seward murder suspect

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - The Ketchikan Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a homicide investigation in Seward.

    On Nov. 27 at approximately 7 p.m., KPD officers contacted Timothy A. Ryan, age 24, of Seward, in the 2400 block of Eagle Street. 

    Officers were assisting the Seward Police Department in an active homicide investigation and placed Ryan under arrest for an outstanding warrant charging him with two counts of Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Murder in the Second Degree, Manslaughter, two counts of Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Tampering with a Witness.

    Ryan was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was booked and held on $500,000 cash bail. Ryan was arraigned on Nov. 28 and his bail was set at $250,000 cash appearance bond and $250,000 cash performance bond.
