Track Palin to live at halfway house

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) Palin will serve one year for assaulting his father last year.

    Palm was convicted of the attack in December, 2017, that left his father Todd, bleeding from cuts on his head after he refused to loan him a vehicle.

    Palin pled guilty to misdemeanor criminal trespass in the case.  Charges had been reduced from felony burglary and misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief.

    Palin has been charged with two other attacks in recent years.  The most recent incident n September, concerned Palin striking a female in the head and taking her cell phone when she tried to leave his home in Wasilla, court records show.

    The woman claimed they wrestled over the phone and that Palin let her leave after she screamed for help, according to an Alaska State Troopers affidavit.

    Palin faces misdemeanor charges including assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in that case.
