DHSS reports 19 new resident COVID-19 cases, 1 in Juneau

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Saturday report of the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services showed 19 new resident cases of COVID-19 in the state.

    One new case was added in Juneau for a total of 43 cases.

    The state total of resident cases now stands at 854 and the non-resident case total is 175, an increase of eight.

    The report showed 521 cases are now listed as recovered and 319 are active.

    There were no new deaths, which remains at 14.
