Hoonah reports three cases of COVID-19

    Hoonah, Alaska (KINY) - Hoonah Mayor Gerald Byers said bars and restaurants have limited capacity after three cases of COVID were confirmed in the community this week.

    Mayor Byers asked the community to limit interactions outside the home and take other precautions.

    Those include extra hand washings, wearing masks, and social distancing.

    Byers asked the community to stay calm during these trying times, "Stay positive!  We are in this together."
