Wrangell has 1 new positive COVID-19 case

    Wrangell, Alaska (KINY) - On Friday, July 24, Wrangell’s Unified Command was notified of one new confirmed COVID-19 case.

    It is not known whether this confirmed case is a resident or a non-resident and the borough is not aware of how the case was identified (airport/travel/testing program).

    Public Health Officials are investigating the case to identify a source and conduct contact tracing.

    A Public Health representative will notify persons who may have come in close contact with the individual.
