CBJ reports 14 cases for Wednesday

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations is reporting 14 new individuals identified with COVID-19 in Juneau.

    Nine are residents and five are nonresidents.

    Of the resident cases, Public Health is attributing three to secondary transmission, one to community spread, and five are under investigation.

    All five nonresidents are in the mining sector.

    Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 223 new people identified with COVID-19.

    217 are residents and six are nonresidents.
