Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported Wednesday that 40 Alaska residents and seven non-residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
The report showed a total of 1,226 cases of Alaskan residents who have tested positive.
There have been 248 non-resident cases, an increase of seven over Tuesday.
The state reported no new deaths from the disease.
Juneau's total stands at 46 cases so far. Ketchikan has 23 cases, while Sitka reports 14 cases. Petersburg has five cases, and Wrangell stands at three. Prince of Wales and Haines each have reported two cases so far.
