Juneau Police asking for assistance in locating Trashcan Vandal

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Police is asking the public for assistance in identifying a person connected to a vandalism near Riverbend Elementary last month.

    JPD Lt. Krag Campbell said they are trying to identify a man who was captured on security video in the area of Riverbend Elementary School on August 22nd.

    According to police, the man in the video was seen at about 8:30 in the morning lighting a metal trashcan on fire, causing some damage inside. The individual is identified as wearing a light colored, Hollister brand sweatshirt, black sweat pants, black shoes, he appears to be a light skinned male proximately 15 to 19 years old.
