Capital City Classic Day Two Sights

    The JDHS dance team once again thrilled the crowd during the Princess Tours Capital City Classic at Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé gymnasium on Tuesday.

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - In the second day (Tuesday) of the Princess Tours Capital City Classic at Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé the action increased as teams got used to the court. The Eagle River Wolves girls defeated the Kotzebue Huskies 31-24, the West Anchorage Eagles boys topped Kotzebue 73-25, the JDHS Crimson Bears girls defeated the Thunder Mountain Falcons 46-36, and the Eagle River boys nipped the JDHS Crimson Bears 70-62.

      Thursday action features TMHS girls against Kotzebue at 1 p.m., the Kotzebue boys against Eagle River at 3 p.m., the JDHS girls hosting Eagle River at 5 p.m. and the JDHS boys hosting West Anchorage at 7 p.m. The JDHS dance team will present their light show again at halftime of the Crimson Bears’ games, and the cheerleaders and pep band will be in action.
