Juneau Post 25 Hosts Palmer

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau’s Post 25 American Legion Baseball team will host the Palmer Post 15 Pioneers tonight at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.

      Juneau can move up into a tie with, or pass, Palmer in the league standings during this series.

      The Alaska Legion AA American Division leaders are the South Post 4 Wolverines with an 8-0 record in the division and an 11-1 overall mark.

      Dimond Post 21 Lynx are 7-3 in division (10-4), Palmer 5-4 (9-6), Chugiak Post 33 Mustangs 5-4 (7-8), Juneau 5-2 (7-2), North Pole Post 30 Wild 2-5 (5-7) and Bartlett Post 29 Golden Bears 1-6 (3-11).

      The National Division leaders are the Service Post 28 Cougars at 7-2 in division (10-7), West Post 1 Eagles 5-5 (6-8), Ketchikan Post 3 Kings 5-2 (6-4), Eagle River Wolves 4-6 (9-6), Fairbanks Post 11 49ers 4-4 (6-6), Wasilla Post 35 Road Warriors 2-6 (5-8), Kenai Post 20 Twins 2-6 (4-9) and East Post 34 Thunderbirds 1-8 (1-14).

    Juneau Post 25 will host Palmer Post 15 tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Adair Kennedy Field, Saturday at 12:30 and 3 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.
