Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau’s Post 25 American Legion baseball team opened the Alaska state championships at Anchorage’s Mulcahy Stadium with a 3-0 win over Chugiak.

According to Post 25 they scored their final two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning as Schmidt was hit by a pitch, advanced on a P. Nelson bunt and scored on an error at third base. I. Nelson moved P. Nelson along on a fielder’s choice and Gavin Millard brought him home.
