Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Shawn Miller saw a ghost … and a goblin … Jason … probably a witch … most definitely a zombie, and a small gathering of folks who may not have felt like the undead at the beginning of Saturday’s Halloween Half Marathon but sure did at the end.

Miller won the 13.1 mile race from Pioneer Road, along Douglas Highway to Fish Creek Road, about a mile up toward Eaglecrest and then back in one hour 20 minutes and 49 seconds.

Rounding out the podium finishes were top female Beth Gollin in 1:32:16 and second place male Aaron Morrison, also in 1:32:16.

The Best Costume Award went to Chelsea McKenzie, who sported a large bathrobe with a No.1 Dad sticker on the front and dad jokes on the back.

      Brandon Ivanowicz (M) ran a 1:35:17, Charlie Waters (M) 1:36:22, John Nagel (M) 1:39:45, Tracy Morrison (F) 1:41:07, Hiram Henry (M) 1:50:19, Randy Peterson (M) 1:50:47, Jennifer Thorsteinson (F) 1:52:10, Dylan Kruger (M) 1:52:44, Chelsea McKenzie (F) 1:54:56, Caitlyn Fleischman (F) 1:54:59, Caysha Fleischman (F) 1:55:01, Becky Bohrer (F) 1:58:44, Kristin McTague (F) 2:07:00, Hannah Bailey (F) 2:14:06, Amy Carroll (F) 2:29:10, Sylvia Kreel (F) 2:29:10 and Linda Kruger (F) 3:23:09.
